Work on another apartment tower planned to be built in Edgewater is now underway.
The new tower will be known as Modera Biscayne Bay.
Demolition of the former Unity church began this week, to make way for the new project.
Modera Biscayne Bay will be a 28-story tower with:
- 296 market-rate apartments,
- 11,000 square feet of retail
- Eight-story parking garage with 425 spaces
Records show that construction permits and tree permits have been applied for, but not yet approved.
Mill Creek Residential is the developer. The company used its own General Contractor license to apply for a phased construction permit.
The project is being designed by Corwil Architects
