A 28-story tower called Modera Biscayne Bay is nearing completion in Edgewater. It will add hundreds of new residents to the area.

The project is valued at $120 million and is being built by developer Mill Creek Residential.

Modera Biscayne Bay will include:

296 apartments for rent
11,000 square feet of retail space
8-story structured parking garage with 425 spaces
The Unity on the Bay church was demolished to make way for the new tower.

Aaron DeMayo, who photographed the building, noted that the project has formalized a road connection between 21st Street and 22nd Street, making the area easier to navigate. The developer earlier placed signs at the site promising a new and improved road extension.
