Miami Worldcenter’s first tower is now complete.

Caoba Miami Worldcenter, a 43-story tower, is now ready for move in, the developer told the Herald. The first residents are scheduled to move January 31, with a waiting list of 200 people interested in viewing apartments.

Prices appear to be above $3 per square foot. Units range in size from 500 to 1,300 square feet, with rents ranging from $1,775 to $4,275.

A construction permit is pending for second 40-story tower at Caoba, but the developer did not say when work would begin.

Four additional major groundbreakings are scheduled for 2019 at Worldcenter, the developer told the paper:

  • CitizenM Miami Worldcenter, a 348 room hotel
  • 110 10th, a 45-story Class A office tower with a “futuristic diagrid” design
  • 1,700-room Marriott hotel and convention center
  • Luma, a 44-story, 434-unit rental tower by apartment developer Zom

Also this year, 150,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space at Worldcenter will receive a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy by the end of May. An additional 150,000 square feet of retail is now in construction permitting, records show. The retail space will be more like Lincoln Road than the Design District or Bal Harbour, with a mix of national and international brands, the developer said.

Paramount Miami Worldcenter, the 60-story condo tower, is scheduled for completion in spring and is now 85 percent sold.
