A major mixed-use component of Miami Worldcenter is now rising out of the ground.
Square Edge Inc, a consultant for the project, wrote on social media that Worldcenter’s Block H is rising at the same time as the Luma tower.
Block H will have multiple uses, including retail, food and beverage, and parking.
The parking garage is perhaps the biggest element, with a total of 922 spaces. It is one of two main public parking garages at Worldcenter.
Retail is also a major component, with total retail space in the structure that is now going vertical 48,000 square feet, including food and beverage on levels 1, 2 and 12.
For those arriving at Worldcenter by car, a driveway at Block H will serve as the main drop off point.
Worldcenter’s main public plaza will be located to the north of Block H, while the CitizenM hotel is under construction to the northeast. The 43-story Luma is rising directly east.
