This is a first look at the cladding on the garage at Brickell Flatiron, which contractors installed for the first time last week.

The cladding appears to be a metallic mesh screen that will cover portions of the parking garage. Some of the garage will also be shielded by residential units, with the tower’s lower levels include a mix of both parking and residential usage.

Brickell Flatiron poured the 56th floor earlier this month, and is rising at a pace of one floor per week. Top off of the 64-story tower is scheduled before the end of 2018 at 734 feet above ground.

Sales have been strong, with 85% of units now sold. Last month, Polaris Industries executive Jacob Vogel purchased a penthouse for $13.2 million.
