A crane was installed this week at a construction site near Brickell City Centre where a 24-story tower with two hotels is being built.
AC Hotel By Marriott and Element By Westin are the two hotel brands that will operate in the building, with a combined 264 rooms between the two.
A rooftop bar and terrace is planned at the top of the tower.
The project will also include 23,000 square feet of retail at the ground level, and 60 parking spaces. The Underline recreational area is directly adjacent to the property.
A $96 million construction loan is financing the project.
Robert Finvarb and Anthony Cho are the developers, with NYSE-listed Summit Hotel Properties providing financing and having an option to purchase the completed hotel.
Arquitectonica is the architect.
